What is happening?
The Government recently announced guidelines for social venues, specifically around capturing guests' contact information. This is so that, in the event that a confirmed COVID case, any people who may have come into close contact can be informed and take the necessary next steps.
North Dorset RFC have teamed up with MylifeDigital (Bath) to provide a pain-free online check-in system called Guestbook. We are delighted to be partnering with a technology provider, and thanks go to Dom Aviss, who secured us early access.
How does it work?
You will see the signs up at the club when you visit which walk you through the steps. It is as simple as scanning a code with the camera on your phone, following the link and registering your contact information. For all subsequent visits, scan and confirm. If you don't have the scanning capability on your phone, you can visit the check-in site and follow the same steps. Speak to Jeanette, or a member of the clubhouse team if you have any issues during your visit.
If a COVID case is confirmed at the club, we hold all of the information, to ensure we can accurately contact all guests (members and non) who checked in and may be impacted.
