North Dorset travelled to Devizes, the current table toppers, and were left in no doubt as
to how they got there as they scored 2 tries in the first 6 mins .North Dorset rallied with a
try of their own bringing the score to 12 - 7. Devizes then engaged top gear and scored
3 more tries bringing the tally to 31 7. North fought back and scored right on half time to
make the score 31 - 12 at the turn round. The second half became a 6 try fest for Devizes
making it 71 - 12. But it was not quite over for N. Dorset as they scored on full time to
make the final score 71 -19. Although beaten by a powerful, fast, well drilled side North
Dorset never allowed their heads to drop and fought every inch of the way.
