North Dorset Badgers were put under pressure from the kick off and gave away a soft try under the posts which was duly converted - 0 - 7 This spurred them into action and after a period of attacking the Wheatsheaf try line Sam Vincent scored in the corner which was converted by Sam 'Jona' Jones bringing the score to 7 all. This only served to ignite the visitors however and they besieged Dorset`s line scoring 3 more tries, 1 of which was converted and it was 7 - 24 at the turnround. From the restart ND Badgers, invigorated by the half time oranges and coaches` comments attacked well resulting in a try by Jamie Baier, coinverted by Sam Jones. Wheatsheaf replied with an unconverted try but not to be outdone ND scored another converted try courtesy of Sam 'Whale' Trevis. Score now 21 - 29. The Home side pressed hard for a considerable time but were unable to cross the line until Wheatsheaf turned the ball over in the ruck and ran in a converted try to finish the game at 21 - 36.
