Another sobering day at the office for the under 13s, away at Oakmedians.
ND only had 13 players, so the match was played 10 a side as agreed with Oaks earlier in the week.
ND always appeared to be on the back foot from the outset, and never got into their stride, putting together the odd good passage of play, but being let down by the final pass or loosing the ball in contact-not capitalising on chances created.
Oaks on the other hand did capitalise, and scored at will throughout the match, punishing ND mistakes especially; in scoring when they stole the ball.
The scores were split evenly during the game (25-5 in each half), but ND can feel proud in that; as always, they battled through to the end and never gave up.

Straight after Christmas it is the final D&W Cup match in the first Phase of the competition, against Swans on 5th January.
