This round of the Dorset & Wilts cup saw North Dorset U16s take on Bradford on Avon for the second time this season. North Dorset were the home side this time around, but found themselves a converted try down after some early physical exchanges. North Dorset struck back with a long range penalty kick. BOA had a period of dominance in the middle of the second half running in 3 further tries however North Dorset were awarded a penalty try when the ref deemed the race to touch down the ball to be illegal. The half time score was 10-22.
BOA were able to rotate their large squad for the second half and their fresh legs counted as a tiring North Dorset defence started to leek tries. This was compounded when players had to slot into unfamiliar positions due to a few injuries.
North Dorset continued to battled hard and were rewarded with 2 second half tries. The score at the final whistle was 22-58.
