The Boys U14’s played their first match of the season, at home against Dorchester on Sunday and came away victorious. After 2 fantastic early tries in the first half by Sid Moore, followed by another superb one by Sam Barnes, the boys looked invincible. However, the opposition showed that they were not going to be defeated that easily and came back to equalise 3 all at halftime.
The second half was equally tense, with George Minto and Sam McConnell providing North Dorset with another 2 brilliant tries. Both teams played fantastic games of rugby, demonstrating amazing teamwork and some great tackles and scrums. However, despite scoring a 4th try in the second half, Dorchester was not quite able to match the determination of NDRFC and the boys achieved their first victory of the season.
Final Score 25 - 20 to North Dorset
