North Dorset RFC

The under 14's played an outstanding match at an away game against the Purbeck Sharks. With 2 early tries from Josh Parkman, North Dorset got off to a great start. A fantastic 3rd try was scored from Sam Barnes and morale was high. Debutant Arley started off his first match for North Dorset with an incredible run, which set up Sam McConnell to score the team's 4th try. Josh Parkman scored his 3rd try, after a brilliant tackle from Freddie Heasman, won the ball back for North Dorset. Another try from Sam McConnell allowed North Dorset to go into the second half 6 tries ahead of the Sharks.

North Dorset were on fire in the second half, with Ben Mitchell scoring the 7th try of the match. After the boys continued to push through the Sharks' strong defence, Rares made a brilliant break and scored yet another try for North Dorset. Arley continued to play brilliantly as he scored his first try for North Dorset. Just as the Sharks were looking set to score a try, Cass Tatman and Joe Frederick made sure they got nowhere near the try line, with their powerful tackles and strong defence. The team continued to work together and another two tries were scored by Sam McConnell. They looked invincible. After several speedy runs from Alfie Hill and Alex Hodges, Rares scored another try. Having played fantastically, Freddie Heasman managed to break through the Sharks' defence and score a try. Just as the second half was drawing to a close, Arley wowed the crowd and scored yet another try. However, the Sharks' managed to steal a try from North Dorset seconds before the whistle.

Overall, North Dorset beat the Purbeck Sharks 14 tries to 1. The team displayed their power and confidence, as well as their teamwork, and won the match by a landslide.
