A SEAT AT THE CAPTAIN’S TABLE??
As part of our 70th anniversary celebrations, we’ve decided to get some of the teams from our glorious past back together.
We put all of our revered previous club captains in a pot to see which lucky legend would host a lunch at the club and watch the boys play. First out of the hat was Stephen Ashfield. Trash was our leader back in 1998/1999 and 1999/2000.
WE NEED YOUR HELP!
Through a strange mix of fate and alcohol, we can’t remember every single detail about those 2 seasons. We are looking to get together everybody who was involved at the club during this period – players, coaches, partners, committee, panto stars and everyone who was part of our merry band then.
The get together is scheduled for November 27th and we would love to get as many people to the Club that day for drinks, laughs and a few old stories. Any input gladly received – if you’ve got any memorabilia from that time also, press cuttings, photos etc we’d love to borrow them.
