Board Restructure and New Appointments

Following a review conducted by a small group chaired by Clive Drake, it was recommended that the structure and operations of the club needed refreshing. The proposals resulting from this review and consultations with members were approved at the recent Virtual AGM. The board now has new roles created, including a new Director of Junior Rugby. Below the board, there are to be new subgroups for the various functions. The new structure has been designed to draw on the expertise and experience that we know lies within the whole membership and to spread the work that it takes to run the club more evenly so that volunteers don’t have their life consumed by rugby club work.

*New board member

On the new board, Chairman Greg Pearce said 

“I would like to thank all the members that are leaving the board for their work and support to me over the last 2 years as Chairman and welcome all new members, to what is a new beginning for North Dorset RFC.”

 Eddie Casey, Dawn Miller, Bruce Cook and Barry Dimmack are stepping down from their positions, the new board would like to thank them all for their tireless work over the years.
