Form
North bounced back from their opening day defeat to Bournemouth with a resounding win against Bridport and toppling previously unbeaten East Dorset dockers last weekend.
Puddletown has started the season well, beating Oaks 22-19 and Salisbury 2s 45 - 0. However last weekend they lost out to high fliers Weymouth & Portland.
The Stats
North and Puddletown have only met in the league twice. Both in the 2002/03 season, North ran out comfortable winners back then 79 - 0 and 53 - 0. However, expect a lot tighter contest this weekend.
North have 3 players in their current playing squad who played against Puddletown back in 2002/03, can you name them?
Unfortunately, none are in the squad this weekend.
The Teams
North have a few changes from last weekend. One change in the pack, Joe Atkins comes in for Gavin Weeks who moves to the bench. In the backs, it is all change on the wings with Tom Bridger-Chilvers moving from 9 and Jake Cannings returning after a week off. Robbie Sampson makes his first start of the season at 10 and Sam Jones moves to 9.
Alongside Gavin Weeks on the bench is Freddie Eggleton, Rob Morris, who has decided to join in and Mitchell Pearce, hop[ing for his first game time with the 1s this season after his solid performances for the Badgers so far this season.

We are still waiting to see Puddletowns team sheet. But they do have two former North Dorset players on their books, Sam Knott and Pearce Mercer. Please make sure they are given a welcome return to Slaughtergate.
