Back in 2017 we collected kit from the club and all of our members to send to Botswana is Southern Africa. Today we have heard from one of the school who have recieved the kit, Nthwalang Junior Secondary School. Pictured below are their u17 team. Great to see our kit being put to good use.
Botswana is a small country of just over 2 million people. In Nthwalang Junior Secondary Schools league they have just over 1250 kids playing. The sport is growing in Botswana, there are 4 Zones that compete at zonal level and then winners from each zone meet at national finals. Some zones have started grassroots development which has boys and girls aged 6 - 12 years. The boys pictured are zonal champions and nationally they finished 4th.
