Oakmeadians
Oakmeadians Rugby Club was formed in 1963 at Oakmead School at Bear Cross. Club pitches were acquired from Oakmead school and shirts from Oakmead Youth Club and ‘Old Oakmeadians RFC’ was born.
In the early 1980's Old Oakmeadians RFC dropped the ‘Old’ and searched for a new environment. At last lady luck arrived in 1990 Oakmeadians RFC took over the running of the clubhouse in Meyrick Park.
Having played in higher leagues in the early 2000s. Oakmeadians were relegated from southern counties during the 2012/13 season.
