Hopefully, Alice will be able to put some tackles in sooner rather than later, fingers crossed.
There was also Ready4Rugby demonstrated on Pitch 1 by our youth and senior teams. They put on a great show, showing the club what they are capable of. Most age groups gained a couple of new players. Thank you to everyone for making them feel welcome.
We welcomed the future RFU President Nigel Gillingham to our great club, with our new President Jez Spicer giving him a tour. We also hosted Gillingham’s Mayor, Shaftesbury’s Deputy Mayor and Local Councillor Val Pothecary.
Overall, it was a tremendous day and advert for our club, which would not have been possible without the efforts of our players, coaches and volunteers. The board would like to thank you all for all your efforts and fantastic hospitality.
